Vulnerable Persons Registry (VPR)
The Vulnerable Persons Registry is a free, voluntary and confidential service aimed at improving the safety of residents living at home who would be at greater risk during emergencies. It improves individuals' safety by providing key information to emergency response teams in order to help them be more aware when addressing emergency issues.
The VPR is active in the city of Sault Ste. Marie and some municipalities in the Algoma and Manitoulin-Sudbury Districts, as part of the Huron North Shore area.
For more information, visit the VPR website at www.soovpr.com or call/ e-mail our local VPR Coordinator for more information.
